Heidi's path into Massage Therapy and Bodywork started as a hobby in 1990 and eventually led to professional certification in September 1998. Before attending Massage Therapy school, Heidi received a Bachelor's Degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Psychology. In the fall of 1997, Heidi attended a 650-Hour Massage Therapy Program at A SpiriTouch Institute in Madison, Wisconsin, and pursued her dream to work with people and be present for their healing process. The program prepared Heidi to practice bodywork in various realms that combined with the client's healing goals allowed for unique therapeutic relationships to exist between Heidi and her clients. In February 2000, Heidi moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan and in May 2002 she opened her own practice called A Therapeutic Connection.
