| In 1940, the Big Ten Market was established as a small grocery store. In 1953 the store was purchased by Eugene Towner and Ed Sharon, and they renamed it the Big Ten Party Store. In 2001, Matt Morgan and Tommy York purchased the store from Gene Towner's family, and set themselves to the task of revitalizing what had once been Ann Arbor's store of choice for fine food and drink. |
