Stone High School is an alternative high school serving two hundred full time students, age 15 through 19, who have been unsuccessful in the traditional setting. Stone High School began in 1993 under the auspices of Adult Education in an effort to meet the needs of the increasing teen population enrolling, yet not succeeding, in classes offered through Adult Education. In 1997 Stone High School became a stand alone high school with no further affiliation with Adult Education.
